I’m beginning to feel a little guilty when people ask me if it’s hard having a long distance relationship and my reply is “No, not really.  It works better for me.  I’m far too busy to have to deal with the day to day intricacies of a local relationship.  I just don’t have room in my life I guess.”

I love him dearly, and miss him when I have to go 3 months without seeing him sometimes.  But I can’t imagine having to find the time to cater to his needs if he was here all the time!  Call me selfish.
